The Artist playing at the Tampa Theatre
Heads up! You’ve only got one week left to catch The Artist at the Tampa Theatre. It was such a treat to catch this ode to silent films in the real life movie palace that is the Tampa Theatre.

“Set in 1927 at the twilight of Hollywood’s silent era, The Artist mixes comedy, romance and drama to tell the story of the interlinked destinies of a silent movie superstar fearing the end of his career and a young ingénue on the brink of superstardom.”
Built in 1926 and brilliantly preserved, the Tampa Theatre provides a most dazzling venue to watch this contemporary silent movie. You won’t have another opportunity to relish a coincidence like this vibrate with such vital anachronism. And the opening scenes, well, I don’t want to spoil it… just try and find a good seat in the mezzanine ;)
The Artist runs daily through January 19th. Check the schedule at tampatheatre.org.

Dear C.L.S.
Granted I cherry-picked a sketch where her character’s manner and dress is closest to yours, you can no longer deny your resemblance to Carrie Brownstein.

One noted criticism when the game showed at an early convention was “It’s nothing but walking around!!” The designers, as described in the post-mortem, scratched their heads. Either they were on the wrong track, or the reviewer was missing the point.Soul | Squaremans
